Unfortunately, many people believe (right or wrong) that both Used Car Dealers and Private Sellers may not be as honest as they should be when it comes to selling their used cars and trucks.
Well, here’s the deal…
The SELLER (whether Dealer or Private) wants to get the most money for the vehicle being SOLD, and the BUYER wants to pay the least amount of money for the vehicle that they want to BUY.
In other words, the SELLER wants to make the most profit, and the BUYER wants to save the most money.
Simple?… YES!
However, it is the process of buying a car or truck that makes it so very stressful.
Totally understandable.
Used cars and trucks can be expensive and if you don’t do it right it could cost you a whole lot more in the long run.
Look, if you are in the market to buy a used car or truck, I can tell you this, if you do not properly prepare yourself before you head out to buy a used car or truck you most likely will not get a good deal.
When you break it all down, buying a used car or truck is a business transaction and if you do not prepare yourself before you go out shopping, most likely, you may discover that you bought a vehicle that does not fit your lifestyle, have paid way too much for your used vehicle, got persuaded (suckered) by the finance department to accept an undeserved high interest rate, and you could end up with a clunker.
Information is Power and if you prepare yourself as a BUYER before you go out to shop for your next used vehicle you will then be able to take control of the auto buying experience and get the best deal possible on a good used car or truck.
It cannot be emphasized enough:
PREPARE Yourself BEFORE You Go Out to Shop for a Used Vehicle.
If you take the time to prepare you can then go out there and shop with the confidence of knowing that you are in control of the auto buying process and are less likely to be taken advantage of.
